I was told that the model 'SM 2350 Power Tech' is better than the other models; Please what is your view on this? I was looking to buy HD receiver so that I can access the Nat geo, wild,etc channels. What are the programs I am gonna need too?

Hi johnatamas

I was facing same problem like you. SM 2350 Power Tech HD receiver is best as compared with others. To be able to watch documentary, kids, music, sports and other entertainment channels you need to have these soft wares.
1. You should upgrade your SM 2350 Power tech receiver with software. (See Admin's post above).
2. You should load Digiturk database file (key.db). You can find it in this forum
3. You should load dump file for SM 2350 Power Tech HD receiver. You can find it in this forum.

That is how I overcame my problem by my self. Thanks to Ethio dish and receiver forum!!!

when i try to upgrade it with a main code it says warning the size dont match

@lexi.first extract the key.db on your usb if you want to add it with a flash usb then plug the usb and go to tools and click ok on upgrade by usb then choose key.db on mode and choose and select your key.db file then press on start and it will restart.

I downloaded and updated my SM2350 power tech from your previous post and totally destroyed all files and the existing channels lost. Tried to scan but all channels fails, please assist

update it with this latest software. And all SD digiturk channels will be opened including Idman during football matches.
